When the Muslims left the Arabian Peninsula to spread the message of Islam, they knew they would conquer countries that had savored the breeze of civilization thousands of years ago. No sooner had the Islamic conquest of Egypt taken place, than the Muslims realized that they are dealing with established people with a great civilization. Therefore, they treated the Egyptians with reverence and never disrespected their beliefs and traditions.

In fact, the Muslims managed to absorb all the cultures and civilizations of the peoples in the countries that they had conquered and benefited from them in the establishment of their Islamic civilization in those countries. As a result, the Islamic civilization was the greatest known civilization to mankind in the middle ages.
