Short Description
The Muslim hero, Jamaal Ad-Deen Aaqoosh Ash-Shams, raised his sword, and, with all his power, struck the neck of Kitbuqa.
Jamaal Ad-Deen Aaqoosh Ash-Shams, a Mamluk emir, very skilled in fighting, belonged to the Mamluks of An-Naasir Yoosuf, who had already left him when he saw his abstention from fighting the Tatars, and joined the army of Qutuz. He fought very well and proceeded on, breaking in the Tatar rows in a successful truthful attack until he reached Kitbuqa, the leader of the Tatars.
It was Allaah Who drove him to that tyrant.
The Muslim hero raised his sword, and, with all his power, struck the neck of Kitbuqa, the arrogant tyrant, and the arrogant head flew and fell down on the ground. In this way, the leader of the Tatars fell, and by his fall, the Tatars lost their determination: {And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allaah Who Threw.} [Quran 8:17]
The scenario of fighting the Tatars drastically changed. They no longer had any concern but to open a way in the Northern entrance of the ‘Ayn Jaaloot Valley to be able to run away. The Muslims rushed in pursuit of the Tatars, killing some and taking some as captives.
The troops of the Tatars fell dead underneath the feet of the Muslims, as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
Their reputation was lost, awe declined, and the horrific army was torn to pieces.
