Sheikh, Dr. Ragheb El-Sergani
delivered a lecure tilted "Inspirations of the Egyptian Revolution " immediately after `Isha prayer at Ar-Rawas mosque, Sayeda Zaynab, Cairo in the presence of hundreds of his associates.
The lectured tackled the incident of the revolution that started on Tuesday 25th January 2011 and resulted in oust of the president Mubarak on Friday 11 February 2011.
Dr. Ragheb started his lecture by saying Allahu Akbar, Al-Hamdullilah and praised Allah for endowing such great relief upon his faithful servants. He stressed that such days he experienced in Tahrir Square represent the best in his lifetime.
He declared that such happy days that Egypt meet needs a profound study and contemplations from which the Muslim nation derive lessons to avoid missing such great chance which may indeed happen if not taking lessons and contemplations to consideration.
Dr. Ragheb demonstrated that the success of this revolt and the preceding incidents is an established way of Allah, where He (Glorified and Exalted) says: ([This is] the established way of Allah with those who passed on before; and you will not find in the way of Allah any change), Al-Ahzab,62.
Dr. Ragheb clearly demonstrated that it is a fatal to attribute to our selves such success that exceeded all expectations and ambitions. However, it is a relief from Allah, the lord of the worlds who is the only doer for this success.
At last, Dr. Ragheb pointed out the importance of comprehending the real goal of life, namely it is not intended for Muslims to live, eat and drink only,; however, to worship Him (SWT) properly, Allah says: (And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me), Adharyat, 56.
Such lecture falls under the weekly lessons series that Dr. Ragheb, General-Supervisor to Islam story web site, will deliver on Tuesdays after `Isha prayer at Ar-Rawas mosque, Al-Sayeda Zaynab Quarter, close to Saratan Al-Atfal "Children Cancer" Hospital.
Noteworthy, Dr. Ragheb was banned to deliver Friday speech and lessons over mosques of Egypt since about ten years due to intensive investigations by Egyptian State Security Body in the course of non-justified arbitrary procedures.
