Demonstrations of hygiene in Islamic law are beyond counting, for example, washing hands after eating where Abu-Dawud related on the authority of Abu-Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: (If anyone spends the night with grease on his hand which he has not washed away, he can blame only himself if some trouble comes to him.)

The removal of grease or alike is a plain proof for hygiene in Islam, which wants health and cleanness for its followers; If anyone spends the night with grease after eating his food on his hand, insects may  harm him by diseases. How amazing to see this sunnah at times of ignorance at the desert where people of the time were far away from this sense. This is definitely demonstrates that this legislation from Almighty god to all humanity for their benefit.

Let’s observe this great sunnah and urge our children to practice it to follow the model of the Prophet (PBUH).
