I have witnessed, from the very beginning, the campaign organized by more than 750 activists for preparing Liberty Fleet. Those activists were from 40 countries: 100 women from different countries, 400 Turkish, 100 Arabs, and the rest were from Europe. I, personally, have participated in the campaign of collecting the money for preparing the Liberty Fleet through participating in some conferences that were held in many Italian cities. I felt happy because I realized that fair and free people all around the world – irrespective of their races, languages, and religions – give attention and care to the Palestinian Case. When the fleet moved from the Turkish port of Antalya on 28 May, I hoped that I will reach Gaza safely. I hoped that our brothers in Gaza will receive the humanitarian aids which the fleet carries on its board: 6,000 tonnes of iron, 2,000 tonnes of cement, electronic generators, medical devices, medical drugs, and food.

Unfortunately, the Israeli occupation forces attacked the fleet and committed a new massacre that will be added to their black history. In this massacre, 19 were killed and more than 70 activists – most of them were Turkish – were wounded. At this, I recalled the Quranic ayah that was revealed about the battle of Badr: {Remember, O believers, when Allah promised you one of the two groups – that it would be yours – and you wished that the unarmed one would be yours. But Allah intended to establish the truth by His words and to eliminate the disbelievers.} [Al-Anfal: 7]

At Badr, the situation was as follows: The companions of the Prophets went out seeking to capture the Qurayish caravan in order to get their money back, but Allah wanted them to get something other than what they wanted.  This was the victory they achieved in the battle of Badr. Undoubtedly, this victory is better for them than getting the money.

It is worth mentioning that those who were in charge of preparing this fleet did their best to prepare it and ensure that it will reach to Gaza safely without being hindered by the Israeli occupation forces. They accompanied with them, on the board of the fleet, some European parliamentarians as well international activists. Also, most of those on the board of the fleet were Turkish people, because Turkey has good ties with Israel. Moreover, some media reporters were on the board of the fleet for live broadcasting.

Despite all of this, Zionist Entity – headed by Netanyahu and Barak, gave an order of hitting the Liberty Fleet exactly like Abu Jahl gave an order to Qurayish to direct to Badr in order to fight the Muslims despite the fact that the Qurash caravan reached Makkah safely under the leadership of Abu Sufyan. Abu Jahl's arrogance led him to his destruction and the destruction of a great number of his army. By analogy, those arrogant Israeli forces will be led to their destruction God-willing.

I will state here ten points concerning the massacre of Liberty Fleet in the light of the Quranic ayah that reads: {Perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah knows, while you know not.} [al-Baqara: 216]

Nineteen were martyred in this massacre. Those martyrs are the fuel of the future awaited victory, because the blood of the martyrs enriches the Palestinian case and move it into forward. So, wait for the coming victory. Allah the Almighty says: {And those who are killed in the cause of Allah – never will He waste their deeds. He will guide them and amend their condition. And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.} [Muhammad: 4-7]

After this massacre, probably, The Turkish-Israeli relations will witness a deep change. The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave a speech directly after this massacre. In his speech, he warned: "Israel, with no excuse, no reason can wash the blood on her hands. The issue, case created by the bloody attack in the Mediterranean Sea, is not the problem between two countries but the problem of the entire world. I believe that no country considering humane values and virtues, no international institution will just watch a murder of these dimensions." He also cancelled three military maneuvers that were to be done with Israel as well as a football match between The Turkish team and the Israeli one. Moreover, Turkey withdrew its ambassador to Israel and called for an emergency session of the U.N. Security Council to punish Israel. In a phone call, Erdogan said to the Palestinian Prime Minister Haniyyah: "We will always support you, no matter what was the price."

The Turkish-Israeli relations witnessed a noticeable tension during the last few years. This tension increased after the war that Israel led against Gaza Strip in the end of the year 2008. Turkey declared its protest against this war and also against Gaza blockade which started from the mid of 2006. Erdogan, also, left the World Economic Forum after sharp exchange with the Israeli president.

What happened will affect the Israeli relations with some European countries, especially these countries that had parliamentarians on board of the Liberty Fleet. Among these European countries are Belgium and Sewed. In the wake of the massacre committed by "Israel" against Liberty Fleet, which was carrying 11 Swedish activists among its passengers, the Swedish Football Association (FA) announced the cancellation of its qualifier match that was to take place on Friday against the Zionist entity's team. The FA informed the International Football Federation (FIFA) of its cancellation of the match in the qualifying tournament for the European Youth Championship, and that it will not send its team to Tel Aviv for the match. Mr. Lars-Ake Lagrell, President of the FA said: "Like any human being, we are disgusted of this violence and surprised by what we have seen." He added that "The FA would accept any decision the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) makes."

Moreover, Nicaragua suspended its diplomatic ties with Israel in protest at Israeli's raid on Liberty Fleet. It is worth mentioning that Venezuela and Bolivia had already cut their relations with Israel in protest over its military offensive in Gaza.

Such Israeli massacre revived the Palestinian Case in the hearts of many people, inside and outside the Muslim World. People may forget about some issues, but Allah wants to remind the whole world of the Palestinian Case. In this respect, this event comes to fulfill this. There were many strikes and protest marches in Turkey, Greece, Paris, Britain, Egypt, America, France, Iran, and other countries.

This massacre was like a gift for the Muslim minorities in West - as well as for all free people all over the world - to prove the tyranny and arrogance of Israel. This is an opportunity to tell the world about the reality of the Palestinian Case and this will be understood and seem logical in the light of this heinous event. Free people, all over the world, have organized strikes in protest over what happened and some insisted on sending another aid fleet to Gaza. This assures the fact that the Palestinian case will be the issue about which the world talks nowadays.

It is known that the Muslim World is not advanced in the field of media and that the Jews, on the other hand, control most of the international media. However, the massacre which Israel committed against Liberty Fleet guaranteed for itself proper space on all international media, be them Zionist or not, and the Palestinian Case started to be presented, at least, in a semi-fair way. Washington post, for example, stated that the Israeli army failed to deal with the Liberty Fleet, the matter that stirs the anger of the whole world. The newspaper, stressed: had Israel allowed the fleet to enter Gaza, it would have been better than sending Special Forces to prevent it.

The Israeli newspapers viewed that this event showed the weakness and the failure of the Israeli army. They asked for the immediate resignation of Barak.

This massacre positively affected the people of Gaza. This is because they witnessed free people from different places of the world dying for their case. No doubt that this will strengthen them and help them indirectly, even more than the benefits they would have got if this fleet reached Gaza. The Zionist Entity itself confessed that the blockade failed to subject the people of Gaza.

This massacre showed the weakness of the some Arab and Islamic regimes that are controlled by America. Such regimes do not take any decision concerning a central case such as the Palestinian Case and they do not respond to the rage of their peoples. They do not cut their diplomatic relations with Israel, which kills civilians merciless. They did not even try to practice any political or economic pressures on Israel.

After this massacre, there are new initiations calling the Palestinian fictions to unite for facing the tyrant Zionist Entity. Some of the leaders of the Palestinian fictions, namely Mahmoud Abbas, condemned such massacre and called for internal reconciliation. Khalid Mishal, the head of the Hamas political bureau, praised this initiation saying: "The current events give us a golden opportunity for Palestinian-Palestinian reconciliation. Hamas is willing to sign and we ask Fatah to stop its military deals and negotiations with the Zionist Entity, because such deals only serve the occupation Entity."

This massacre touched the feelings of the whole world. Now, there is an international efforts exerted for ending Gaza blockade and for re-building Gaza after the last Israeli assaults. Hilary Clinton, for the first time, describes the situation in Gaza Strip as unacceptable and can not continue like this. The UN Secretary General has demanded that Israel lift its blockade of the Gaza Strip immediately. Moreover, China, Russia and the European Union urged Israel to break the blockade on Gaza.

This is the reaction that I have seen so far and I am sure that the coming days will bring with more for the good of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Everyone must be sure that Allah defends the believers, for He says: {Allah has written [i.e., decreed], "I will surely overcome, I and My messengers." Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. } [al-Mujadalah: 21]
