Short Description
I, continue analyzing such significant event, namely revolt of Tunisia 2011. In the course of the previous article "Story of Tunisia 1/2", I have stressed on the significance of the event.
Almost, it will be impanted in the history memory out of its consequences on Tunisia and the Muslim and Arab lands in general as well.
In the previous article, I made five contemplations on the event. They may be summarized in the following;
First: - congratulations to the Tunisian people for deposing the tyrant ruler.
Second: - Injustice creates a feeble system. Tyrants are, in fact, too feeble and nationals are stronger. A fact, if well-gotten, the rule of such tyrants would instantly be removed.
Third: - change occurs where it is ultimately unexpected. Allah, the Almighty, decreed this Divine norm so that people do not feel conceit and attribute the change to themselves and forget Allah, the Almighty. Also, it is to keep strong hope in people hearts that change would certainly occur, even if the accomplished facts suggest otherwise, namely they weigh nothing if compared to the might of the tyrants.
Fourth: - all Arab leaders were delayed on announcing their attitude over the revolt. This was to wait the view of America and France, and then they acted identically. They stated that they revere the freedom of the Tunisian people
After this period of inactivity, statements of the Arab leaders were too comic.
Fifth: - the material systems feel free to let down each other.
To exemplify, Zain Al-`Abedin, the man who let down all his associates and fled away. As well, the major powers let Zain Al-`Abedin down.
This is the case of the present life, where there is no significance for any morals, but the personal interests.
Such five contemplations were discussed in the previous article, however, in this article; I would make another five significant ones.
Sixth: - what is the reason of the comprehensive public revolt in Tunisia which resulted in such disgraceful fleeing of the tyrant frightened Zain Al-`Abedin?!
It is said that the Tunisian people suffers a severe unemployment that it undergoes the chains of poverty and hunger, in addition to the exaggerated corruption to a degree incited Tunisians to such sudden collective revolt.
These are some of the analyses to the secret of the Tunisian revolt.
However, in fact, I consider the event different relatively.
No doubt that unemployment, hunger and corruption lead nationals to eruption after experiencing a condition of congestion.
In my view of point, these reasons are not the main to lead to such Tunisian revolt.
This is out of two things;
First: - the state of hunger is not too declining in Tunisia, namely the matters are relative. To illustrate, Tunisia is poor if compared to states of Gulf, however, it is too rich if compared to states like Yemen and Sudan or rather African states in general. Moreover, it is opened way before the Tunisian people to migrate to Europe and Canada. The financial condition is not too declining to such extent that the Tunisian people to run a risk of souls and expose themselves to fierce force arms as known to the whole.
Second:-
In most of the Arab states, the condition is too declining than that of Tunisia. To illustrate, the corruption taking place in Tunisia, even if it is grave, is less than that of many other Arab states.
The following statistics approves that.
Report of Transparency 2009 reveals the ratio of corruption globally. It depends, as known for you, on surveying corruption on management, wealth, elections and others. It consist of ten marks, that is the country reaching ten over ten, means that it has no corruption. However, a country reaching 7 over 10 means that it suffers a corruption in three of ten.
What is the standing of Tunisia in this report?!
Tunisia reached 4.2 marks. This means a grave degree of corruption, namely every ten dealings there are 4.2 fair ones, while the other are corrupted.
No doubt that this is a very bad degree.
On the other hand, what is the standing of the other Arab states?!
Kuwait reached 4.1, morocco 3.3, Algeria 2.8, Egypt 2.8, Syria 2.6, Lebanon 2.5 and Yemen 2.1.
If the main reason behind revolt is the corruption, why, then, the other Arab states have not executed revolts?!
As well, unemployment in Tunisia is similar to that in the other Arab states. In Tunisia, unemployment ratio reached 14.1%.
No doubt, it is a grave ratio. However, what is the ratio in the adjacent states?
Mauritania ratio is 33.2%, Yemen 18.4%, Libya 18.1%, Sudan17.3%, and Lebanon 15%. They are all higher than Tunisia.
The other states approximate Tunisia, namely Algeria 13.8%, Jordan 12.7%, Morocco 9.6%, Egypt 9% and Syria 8.4%.
Taking into account that the disguised unemployment in all these states which is very much. To illustrate, large number of the nationals work for a scanty sum of money which is less than that disbursed for unemployed in Europe and America!
As well; bearing in mind the population number, unemployment ratio in Egypt, for example, amounts to 9% which equals more than 2 million unemployed (2.188.000)!
If we imagine that the main reason for revolt was the unemployment, it would probably takes place in one or more of the Arab states in the region.
The one might imagine the unemployed number in Egypt solitary represents a revolt consists of 2 million nationals. However; if their families demonstrated with them, the number would amount to about 10 millions. How a dreadful number that no governing system can resist.
Yet, unemployment is not the main reason of the revolt, even if it is an influencing factor.
To this degree, what is the real reason? What is the secret of the success of the revolt up till now?
In fact, I believe that the Tunisian governing system was one of the Arab systems esteems not its nationals and highly restricts the freedom of its people and muzzles them. Frequently, this would incite people on revolts.
The ancient Arabs said: "the modest woman may die of hunger, but does not use its breasts to feed herself"; the dignity of Arabs is more important than food and drink.
Putting Tunisian people under the tight grasp of the Zain El-`Abedin, and Burqeibah prior to him was the result of this powerful congestion which in turn lead to inevitable revolt.
I, have published an article on my site www.Islamstory.com in the first of October2009 titled "the issue of veil in Tunisia" where I cited the following: " practicing such continuous pressure on your Tunisian nationals will never ensures the safety for you, will not enable you to confront your enemy and will not keep the post for you for a long time. The discord between the nationals and their rulers would inevitably lead to revolt. One day, it will be unbearable and people will revolt against their rulers. The revolt might not be proper or unconventional".
The constraint of Zain El-`Abedin, and Burqeibah were not content of the complete control over mass media, eliminating all kinds of objection, detentions, torture and banishment, however it extended to the firmly religious established issues.
How repulsive it is for a ruler in a Muslim state whose population amount to 98% to refer to the veil of the Muslim woman as a sectarian dress, follow the veiled women and enact laws to prohibit it!
It is obvious that most of the Arab rulers tighten the grasp on their nationals; however, none of them would belittle the principles of Islam plainly. They already muzzle the mouths; however, they permit a little freedom to ease the severe state of congestion to avoid eruption. Moreover, they, relatively, permit the dissent view in mass media to discuss the issues and worries of people which ease them and make them feel as if it is solved.
This is a political cunning of the other tyrant rulers that Zain El-`Abedin unconscious of it, therefore; the result was unexpected.
In general, it is a message to all rulers, this political cunning may provide you a longer period of your posts, however, it is a short-term.
The day, in which you belittle the dignity of your nationals and restrict their freedom to a certain extent known only by Allah, your nationals would revolt as happened in Tunisia.
Seventh:
Why did America and France permit this revolt to continue and succeed?! Why did they let him down very easily in this way? Did Zain Al-`Abedin oppose them?! Did he violate their plans?! Certainly, Zain Al-`Abedin never violated their plans, because he can never break their covenants.
However, this is in fact, because Zain El-`Abedin became a useless tool.
He reached 74 years, however, I know that he is deemed a young man if compared to the other Arab presidents, rather his health impeded him from managing the affairs of the state for more than two years ago where actually it was to his wife. This is a condition forewarns of imminent revolt. The administrative and security control would no longer be tight the same in the past. Consequently, organized trends may arise in Tunisia in the imminent future leads to an organized and orderly arranged change. It may be an Islamic one, or at least, fair that is not in the interest of America or France.
Let that aged president be deposed as he suits not this stage and let another president holds the office as long as he is easily managed, namely by the west.
The most important interest is to keep such change now before any Islamic trend comes into sight in the presence of the week-willed current governing body.
The event came to be suitable and the Tunisian people anger has been agitated.
It may have been to France to interfere and the police also in more violent way than being content with having one hundred nationals killed. As well, the army may have been interfered even if it is apart from the interior policy. However, in most, An American or French orders came to be delivered directly or indirectly to some of the interior influential leading figures to let revolt spread.
It is now leadless as actually they want, because he would be one of their parties. However; he might be known by name from this moment, he might be one of the most prominent heads in Tunisia, a man promised to be leader and the west will take part to make him a leader as happened before with many figures.
Revolt has erupted and left to its destiny.
Who will direct it? We do not know, will not know and should not know!
The event is met by astonishment globally except by America and France who commented in sedate and quiet manner: we do respect the will of the Tunisian people.
France, which occupied Tunisia for seventy five successive years, reveres the will of the Tunisian people!
America, which occupies Iraq and Afghanistan and acts as the life artery for Zionists, reveres the will of the Tunisian people!
Is it believable for any body?!
Let's make a consideration to the imminent future!
If Islamists manage to rule Tunisia after this revolt, will America and France remain a mere bystander?! How far!
France ultimately refused the elections in Algeria on 1990 though its fairness it entirely acknowledged and backed the Algerian army to suppress the will of the Algerian people.
As well, America totally refused the elections of Palestine on 2006 in the wake of the Islamist Hamas Movement winning of elections and rated it a terrorist group, and supported the parties losing ground and insisted on repressing the will of the Palestinian people.
Also, America warned Egypt of exercising fraud in the election of 2005 which led to the winning of a much number of the brotherhood group, hence America overlooked the second and the third round of the elections which made it plainly falsified elections with no objection.
During the Egyptian elections of 2010, America wholly kept its self aloof as long as it will lead to repression of the Islamists, and even though it is openly falsified.
They do not observe concerning Muslims any pact of kinship or covenant of protection.
This is not their trouble, however it that of Muslims who let the reins of their government to other Muslims and non-Muslims who are directed by their own inclinations. This made them wait for permission from America or France or others in their own affairs and look out for a statement from the west to start change.
Dear brothers and sisters, one's rights can never be attained through donation from the other; however, by might.
Eighth:
It is a very significant one. Who will make use of the revolt? It is possible to have other revolts to the other Arab lands? In other words, can the Tunisian revolt be executed in another Arab state? Will a young man commit suicide which would enrage the common and then change takes place?
The most critical point in this revolt is that it occurred randomly with the least kind of previous arrangements. It is a set of casual incidents accumulated together to produce such Tunisian revolt. This is a very significant chance; however, in the absence of well-arrangement, such chances would definitely be useless.
Is it a kind of pessimism?!
No, however; I never advocate it. Rather, it is realism. I believe that it is better for the one to live in depressing reality than to live in delusive dreams.
Allah, the Almighty, has consonants that will never back down on them.
For example, Allah's victory and relief are only for those deserve them and that Allah does not change bad condition of people until they start change themselves which can never be achieved except through planning and orderly arrangements.
The governmental offenses against Islam resulted in jailing Muslims, or they were expelled or they fled abroad. Many Islamists in Tunisia lost hope to change issues and almost no opposing movement to the dictatorial governing system has been formed from the year 1992.
This long time offered no wise alternative leadership for the Tunisian people and thus became guideless in most.
It would pleasure me if this revolt erupted for taking a way the veil of the Tunisian woman not for a young man committed suicide.
I beg your pardon, my dear readers!
I just state that out of my pity to the Muslim nation not to live in a state of big delusion.
Too many ignited, and will ignite themselves hoping to change matters and that will not happen, even if all nationals did the same.
Desperate people can not change matters.
This very random change is a very easy pleasant chance to the enemies of the Muslim nation.
It may happen that a man from the past regime would say that we oppose the tyrants and we would perform a revolt to restore matters to its good order. This would result in detaining many leaders to serve as scapegoats, though very soon they were his companions. Also, valueless notorious groups of the Opposition Party will be a tool to embellish the matter. Peoples there will be assuaged with carrot and stick and the new government will be welcomed globally, America, France and the Arab mass media will promptly praise the change. The new president will be wholeheartedly welcomed who will not be much different from Zain Al-`Abedin.
It is not a call to frustration, however; a call to exerting efforts.
We should make ready and arrange our affairs. There should be an effective reaction even if it led to imprisonment, torture, coercion and violence.
There should be constant participation in the events and experiencing the concerns of the nationals and the persistent enabling to the substitute solutions, so that if a chance like that became at hand, the only substitute before people would be those reformers only.
In such circumstances, every body is keen to govern in Tunisia, and prominent Islamists from here and there will make endeavors to gain rule. However, the Tunisian nationals would then address them: where have you been at time we have conducted the revolt? Too many will try to hold the reins of government and disagreement will take place. At that time, the obscure man who forced Zain Al-`Abedin will to step down will, by suggestion of America or France, hold the reins of government.
The one acquainted with history shall definitely agree with me on the aforementioned.
To exemplify, you may recall the story of Kamal Ataturk holding the reins of government in Turky.
I have previously, in the third contemplation, referred to the fact that change comes from where none expects quoting as an example the opening of Mecca as it has been done as a result of treachery practiced by Banu-Bakr tribe against Khuza`ah which was unexpected, because Quraish itself has not break the pact of Muslims. However, Allah, the Almighty, predestined such unexpected matters to take place to open Mecca. The core point in this respect is that the prophet (PBUH) and the Faithful around him were wholly on the alert, fiducially, politically, economically and in terms of well-planning. On the big unexpected chance, the prophet was on the alert to seizing and making use of it. Indeed, we do not know when the suitable chance comes to view? Yet, we do know how to get ready. We do not know when the victory of Allah, the Almighty, will take place? Yet, we do know the characteristics by which we deserve such victory.
Accordingly, it is impossible to have the same event of Tunisia in the other countries, however, I do knot agree with doing the very same, rater, I advise it to prepare well, stand firm to the consequences and sacrifice more and more. If that was met, the change would be much firm and none would gain the advantages of the revolt save the qualified only.
Ninth:
Though I constantly call to investigating history to profoundly analyze the incidents, indeed, it is too important to regard the events in terms of the Islamic Shariah.
Mostly, things are regarded wee, though they are not so in the viewpoint of the Islamic law. And, also, they may be deemed wise, though, they are abusive in the legal perspective. So long as the case is so, the analysis deducted would be futile.
Let me put forth two issues to discussion that really deserve so;
The first: the young man committing suicide, such incident that was as the spark.
Comment: it should never be for any Muslim- regardless of their enthusiasm and joyfulness for having Zain Al-`Abedin abdicated– to regard him as martyr, even some demand to carve a statue or statues for him. From the viewpoint of the Islamic law, such man committing suicide is a suicide that we should not at all sympathize with him seeking justifications for him. Let me declare it publicly that there is the least justification for any one commits suicide crime whatever the ambient motives are. It is a very weak faith, Allah, the Almighty, says: (He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?) Al-Hijr, 56, (Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people.") Yussuf, 87 and (And do not kill yourselves) An-Nisaa 29.
The one killing himself is in no way pardoned. The prophet (PBUH) declared the hideousness of such crime and the bad consequence of perpetuating it as having been reported: (.Whoever kills himself by throwing himself from a mountain, will keep falling in the Fire of Jahannam forever and ever. Whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand and he will keep taking it in the Fire of Jahannam forever and ever. Whoever kills himself with an iron tool, then his tool will be in his hand and he will keep stabbing himself with it in the Fire of Jahannam, forever and ever) This Hadith was collected in the Two Sahihs, however, this very wording is of Al-Bukhari.
You may review and investigate the wording very well to recognize the extent of the hideousness of the forbiddance made by the prophet (PBUH) and the disfiguring to the act.
What is the consequence of mass media being incognizant with this ruling?
What is the consequence of applying such young man committing suicide as martyr?
Muslims believed such act is praiseworthy and it would lead to change matters, however, some thought that it rewards its dower and raises his rank in the paradise. Up till now, to my knowledge, seven people burnt themselves in Egypt, four in Algeria and one person in Mauritania. There may be others not known for the mass media tools.
What a crisis it is?
It is a very hideous contradictory act to Islam. It is abominable negative attitude. It is as fleeing from the hardship of the world life to the Hell-fire.
The prophet (PBUH) and the companions endured a hundredfold, yet none of them perpetuated suicide or even despaired of Allah's relief.
Polytheists spited in the face of the prophet (PBHU), threw the rubbish upon his head, cursed him in the worst phrases, forced him out of his home, threw stones at him and confiscated his wealth and the companions as well.
It may be alleged that a policewoman has offended such Tunisian man the matter which hurt his dignity. On response to that the story of torturing Khabbab ibn Al-Arat is so relevant. Khabbab was a noble Arab man suffered torture by a woman, yet he neither have committed suicide nor have been despair of Allah's relief.
Totally, I do not agree with the honoring to such man committing suicide in Tunisia even if the revolt found to be successful. Opening of Mecca went successfully though its reason was that Banu-Bakr tribe broke the covenant of Khuza`ah tribe. This does not mean that we, Muslims, praise treachery or praise the treacherous. However, the correct attitude is to observe the instructions of Islam in terms of our goals and the leading means. If we did that, change would certainly take place. At that time, change will be real not illusive and permanent not temporal.
The second: I demand scholars to consider the Saudi accommodation to Zain Al-`Abedin.
Saudi Prime Minister, Emir Suad Al-Faisal, stated that accommodation is an Arabian custom and the one seeking refuge should be relieved.
The question is: have the Saudi scholars been asked for ruling on that matter? Or the matter has been passed, and afterwards scholars may give their ruling?
Definitely, Muslims frequently face serious dilemma as they set aside religion rulings from the military, economic and political aspects.
We have to reconsider the issue from the viewpoint of Shariah.
Imam Muslim narrated that the prophet said: (May Allah's curse befalls those who shelter Muhdith). Imam An-Nawawi comments on the Hadith that Muhdith is the one who practices corruption on earth. However, Zain EL-`Abedin is deemed a serious corrupter. How bad it is for him to stultify the rulings and replaces them in public! Moreover, he committed other kinds of corruption in his land.
Is it permissible to relieve a man, together with his family, obsess most of the Tunisian state wealth? Is it permissible to give confidence to him to escape with such plundered wealth? Is it permissible to relieve the one shed Muslims bloods and is condemned by tens, hundreds, rather thousands of penalties?
Is it permissible to become intimate with such corrupter tyrant ruler, though Allah, the Almighty, says: (And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped) Hud, 113.
Is it permissible to concern about the felling of Zain Al-`Bedin and disregard the feelings of ten millions of Tunisians, however, more than million Tunisians detest such tyrant?
Saudi Arabia ranks highly in the Muslim world, however it occupies a unique stance in the hearts of Muslims as it holds the honorable Kaaba and the corpse of the prophet Muhammad, the best of mankind and as it is the memoirs of the righteous companions of the prophet.
It might be appropriate for Saudi Arabia to diplomatically apologize to such corrupter tyrant. This should have been occurred out of its appreciation for the Muslims feelings towards her. Such Muslims, who love, appreciate and give preference to it over other Muslim states.
Let zain Al-`Abedin flee to france or America and let his end be wherein his beginning was to have the lands of the two holly shrines purified from the contemptibility and evil of Zain El-`Abedin.
I call rulers and scholars of Saudi Arabia to do that, lest Allah's wrath and curse befall us.
The tenth:-
O honorable Tunisians! I appreciate you much more you may imagine. How rejoice I feel when I meet a Tunisian man in the west or the East! It is a very old appreciation. Your country is a noble one, your history is honorable and you are of pure origin. Not Muslims only, but the whole world feels grateful to you. This is because you conquered Sicily wherefrom the commonweal befell Europe. And, you have participated in Andalusia opening wherefrom the commonweal befell the whole world. You, Tunisian were the major constituent of Muslims in whole Africa as well.
Indeed, I love you foe the sake of Allah. I appreciate you wholeheartedly.
Being a Tunisian do encourages and pleasures me.
Tunisian man or woman is a steadfast to Islam though oppression. He/she adheres to Islam though persecution, cling to the Islamic ordinances though distortion and Excellent in identity despite Westernization.
O dear Tunisians! Based you a feelings of appreciation and fear towards you, I advise you not to substitute Islam. Westerners, seculars, communists and liberals will propose thousands of substitutes and solutions for you, be aware! Accept nothing but Islam. Stick firmly to your religion, Islam.
Such substitutes and solutions proposed will definitely be followed by suffering. Let it be in the cause of Allah, how magnificent it is! It is strive in the cause of Allah, how exalted it is! Ultimately, it leads to dignity in both the present and after life.
We, Muslims, are a nation seeking dignity in Islam, so if we seek it otherwise, we definitely will be humbled.
O Tunisians! Seize the opportunity.
O Tunisians! please lend your ears to me! It is much easy to seize this opportunity than to stage a new revolt after two or ten years.
Today you are in high spirits. All Muslims support you. Your scarifications are facile. Your enemy is feeble and ineffective. It is a chance.
If you endure your revolt until a Muslim ruler fears Allah and is abided by Shariah, you would get the better of it and be an example to other Muslim lands longing to rule of Islam.
If you do not endure your revolt and an inferior to the west, communist or layman, held the reins of your government, then it would be an immense deterioration which may cause frustration to Muslims wholly.
Fear Allah as to your religion.
Fear Allah as to the Muslim nation.
Fear Allah as to your selves and household.
Do your best in the worldly life while considering the afterlife
It is an eternal life in paradise or in hell-fire.
