Short Description
Fudalah ibn `Umair was a vehement foe to the prophet Muhammad to the extent that he planned to kill the prophet at the time of opening Mecca.
How dangerous is that! The prophet's army amounts to 10 thousands of Muslims that is Fudalah would definitely be killed if he ventured his plan. Yet, out of deep spite, Fudalah decided to sacrifice his life to kill the prophet.
Righteousness of the prophet Muhammad to Fudalah
Fudalah put the sword under his clothes and approached the prophet who was circumambulating around Kaba. By then, the prophet said: is it you Fudalah? Fudalah said: yes, it is me, O Messenger of Allah. (By then, Fudalah was pretending he is a Muslim). The prophet asked him: what are you intending? Fudalah said: no thing, I just remember Allah. The prophet laughed and said to him: O Fudalah! Seek Allah's forgiveness and put his hand on his chest. At that moment, the heart of Fudala became tranquil.
After that event, Fudalah has been quoted: by Allah! No sooner the prophet raised his hand from my chest, unless he became the dearest to me.
This is the attitude and stance of the prophet Muhammad towards a man tried to kill him unless Allah protected his Messenger.
