Short Description
The upright Muslims always hope the Muslim nation in the front and thus they become fortunate by its glory and the whole world would get the same.
However; though the goal is identical, too many get differed over the means leading to it.
Change, reform and awakening are noble goals need to definite means and established criteria.
The Glorious Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad include the means of changing and the mechanism of reform. As well, the history and the story of the Muslim nation indicate the onset, indications and nature of reform.
Always, the few believers cause change.
On reviewing the condition of the large (great) numbers in the Glorious Quran, it often describes the bad and declining condition of this group. For example, Allah, Almighty, says: (And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah. They follow not except assumption, and they are not but falsifying), Al-An`am, 116, (but most of the people are not grateful), Ghafer, 61and (but most men know not), Yusuf, 40 and so on.
On the other hand, on reviewing the condition of the believers and reformers, they are always stated in the Quranic verses in the form of reduction. For example, Allah, Almighty, says: (" But none had believed with him, except a few), Hud, 40, (And few of My servants are grateful), Sabaa, 13 and (except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah ]), Sad, 24.
Most people do not like to sacrifice for the advantage of their religion and nation. They may be good citizens, however, they want a peaceful life with the least troubles, and no inclination to lose their money, homes, children or their lives for the advantage of their religion and nation.
Just a special kind of men and women can do these sacrifices, yet; it is very affecting. If such few special kind of people was to be a nation, it would definitely cause change, even if most of the nation were carless to the concerns of that nation.
The characteristics of those few believers are clear and well-known in the Book of Allah, Almighty, and in the Sunnah of the Messenger Muhammad, and throughout the history of reform of our Muslim nation.
The few believers are devoted entirely and sincerely to Allah in their faith. They love Allah, Almighty and Allah loves them.
They are closely linked to the laws of their Lord, both in verbs and words. They are dedicated to the Laws of Allah accepting no change or alteration, nor do they indulge in the major or minor violations. They revere the Qur'an and Sunnah that they go for judgement (in their disputes) to them only.
They are ready to sacrifice for their faith and principles. Their religion is the dearest to them. They also know that the way is difficult and the hardships are too many, and that the sacrifices are enormous. Yet, they underestimate all of these challenges; because they aspire to the great reward bestowed by the Almighty, Allah on the believers who are few in number.
The few believers bring out revivers and renewers who in turn lead the the movement of changing and reform.
It is not logic that such reviviers and renewers will appear from the vacuum, however; the bellievers form their origin, then Allah, Almighty, chooses one or groug from among them to act as renewers and reformers at their time.
This norm is not applied to the Messengers and Prophets of Allah that they are sent by Allah at times where there is no believers at all, ratehr where there is no body who worships Allah in the proper manner. Thus, Allah send them to start a comprehensive reform movement as for creed, ethics and values.
These norms are too important for us to pay attention to.
To illustrate; those who believe that the renewer assumes reform alone often wait for long time exerting to effort to achieve reform. They wish that Allah will bring out for them Salah Ad-Din, Qutuz or `Umar ibn `Abdul-Aziz or even others from somewhere. They are ignorant of the fact that prominent figures got out from among the believers where were few at their times.
I believe that the few believers struggle more than the renewer does. Indeed, they are the non-prominent pious who reform while being unfamous among people. They are the steadfast ones, even they have not got the fruits of their reformatory acts. They might die experiencing no victory or being empowered.
In order to understand the condition of the renewer Salah Ad-Din Al-Ayubi, the one should be acquainted with the life history of the few believers who were contemporary of `Emad Ed-Din Zinki and his father Aq Sunqur and the dignified scholars as well. This condition got out Nur Ad-Din Mahmoud who in turn got out Salah Ad-Din al-Ayubi.
Those ever hasty always pay attention to the end, but they are carless of the norm of changing matters which will never be altered or modified. Accordingly, they are in wait for a man descend from the heavens or appear from underground or from another planet to reform the Muslim nation.
On the other hand, the desperate believe that it is necessary for the whole Muslim nation to be upright to deserve the victory from Allah. This is definetely impossible and not in accordance to the laws of Allah.
As I have mentioned repeatedly, the large number of people always are not on the straight path and thus the Muslim nation and the majority will not be in a good condition untill few believers appear who in turn will bring out the renewer and reformer.
The question that you should hastly respond to is; Are you from the few believers? Or you just observe the incidents in wait for the events to come?!
Respond quickly as it may be few moments for you in this temporarily life!
I ask Allah, Almighty to grant glory upon Islam and Muslims. Ameen.
