Short Description
Dr. Ragheb El-Sergani, General-Supervisor of Islam Story Web Site, stressed that the history of Muslims is repleted with a noble Islamic regime at all its stages and that the Muslim nation is in need to a righteous ruler leads it to promotion and development. Dr. Ragheb quoted as an example the statement of the caliph `Uthman ibn `Affan : "Indeed, people may be deterred from things due to instructions of sultans more than Quran". This is because the means of rulers are variant from those of scholars, namely those of rulers are more wider and comprehensive and thus they become more influential as to nationals than scholars do.
To exemplify, rulers have the machines of education, like schools and universities which if led in right way, it would graduate generations qualified to lead the Muslim nation promoted and dignified.
As well, rulers have the means of media, including the satellite channels, newspapers and others which if directed to promoting Islam and calling to it, it would lead to upright peoples, in addition to the means of legislation and laws and the ability to enact laws that preserve lands and nationals and secure freedom, justice and security along with ensuring the guarantee of applying such laws and legislations.
These notions were delivered by Dr. Ragheb El-Sergani during a lecture titled "Indeed, people may be deterred from things due to instructions of sultans more than Quran" that delivered on the past Wednesday, March 30th, 2011immediately after `Isha prayer at Ar-Rawas mosque, Sayeda Zaynab quarter, Cairo.
Dr. Ragheb added that those notions are not just fancy Muslims wish, rather it was a reality Muslims experienced for many centuries through righteous rulers who were knowledgeable of the Law of Allah and dedicated to apply the sunnah of His prophet Muhammad "PBUH".
This does not mean that there were of no errors, since it is the established way of Allah as to humans, but their errors were few.
This is well-demonstrated for the one looking closely to the biographies of `Umar ibn Al-Khattab, `Uthman, `Ali, `Umar ibn `Abdel-Aziz, Harun Ar-Rashid, Al-Mamun, Al-Mu`tassim, `Abdul-Rahman An-Nasser, Almoravids, Almohad Dynasty, Ayyubids, Mamluk Dynasty and the Ottoman caliphs during the first two hundred years of its rule as if been the nation of the companions of the prophet "PBUH". Indeed, the history of Muslims is noble thought its stages.
Dr. Ragheb stressed that the condition of Egypt should not be compared to that of Palestinians, Erdogfan in Turkey, Taliban in Afghanistan, Iranians, Sudanese or Algerians, though the multi-dissimilarities that distinguish those conditions than the Egyptian one.
Dr. Ragheb added that measures and criteria should be unified to reach a condition suitable to noble Islamic regime to Egypt.
In other course, Dr. Ragheb stressed that the American peoples are kind; however, the American administration has its own agenda which does not reflect the nature of its people and that the government there use different means to hide the casualties it conducts in the Muslim lands from its people. among the most dangerous means is the powerful American media, whether be satellite channels or the daily newspapers that represent Muslims as terrorists day and night.
Dr. Ragheb stressed that,in this regard, there are many other peoples who are misled like Americans, such as Latin and North America peoples, the matter which makes it more difficult for Muslims to convey the message of Islam to those peoples.
