Short Description
My Nation during the last Ramadan
If I know that this is my last Ramadan, I would not forget my nation whose misfortunes are many and crises are numerous. How it comes for me to meet Allah, the Almighty, while I am not worried with the concerns of my nation; massacres in Syria, annihilation in Burma, siege in Palestine, occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan, oppression in Chechnya, violence in Kashmir, divided Sudan, and destruction in Somalia. Beast worldwide bite Muslims and they are inattentive!!
What will I say in reply to Allah on meeting Him tomorrow?!
Will it be an excuse that I was busy concerned with sports, art news or even with my own and my family’s affairs?!
Where is the sense of the one nation?!
Am I ailed for the calamities afflicting Muslims worldwide, eastward and westward?!
By Allah! Even if I am bust in offering prayer and standing in night prayer, will Allah accept it from me as an excuse for Muslim men killed, Muslim women raped, children made homeless, lands destructed and leveled and sanctities violated?!
The prophet Muhammad broke his fasting and ordered Muslims to do the same on heading towards Mecca in the incident of opening as a result of the breach of Bani Bakr and Quraish.
Fasting may be delayed, but striving in the cause of Allah never be delayed. This is not a deduction of me or you; rather it is the practice of the prophet Muhammad.
