Short Description
In fact He is Almighty Allah alone who can keep you harmless, and if harmed, He alone can relieve you. This is manifested in the glorious Quran where Allah says: (Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember.), An-Naml, 62., and (And when adversity touches you at sea, lost are [all] those you invoke except for Him.), Al-Israa, 67.
A Muslim should believe in that and declare it daily morning and night, which is a sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh), where At-Tirmidhi related, Al-Albani ranked it Hassan and Sahih, on the authority of Aban ibn `Uthman who said: i heard `Uthman ibn `Affan saying: I heard the Prophet (pbuh) as saying: (When a Muslim utters the following words each morning and each night three times, then he will not be harmed: "In the name of Allah with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can harm one. Aban was afflicted by hemiplegia, and the man kept looking at him, but Aban explained it to him as saying: the Hadith of the Prophet is exactly as I had said to you, however, I did not utter such supplication on that day so that Allah inflicted his destiny upon me ".)
So, if a Muslim was keen to invoking Allah by such supplication, nothing would harm him, and at the same time he is declaring his proper belief in Allah.
For the companion Aban, he attributed hemiplegia he was afflicted with for his forgetfulness to say the supplication on that day when hemiplegia befell him.
Let's maintain this great sunnah which saves our bodies, souls, and belief.
