Short Description
It is a sunnah to remind each other of the tremendous goodness in Ramadan wherein Muslims find pleasure in this life and in the hereafter for their fasting and praying Taraweh. Ibn Majah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “This month has come to you, and in it there is a night that is better than a thousand months. Whoever is deprived of it is deprived of all goodness, and no one is deprived of its goodness except one who is truly deprived.”
Jami` at-Tirmidhi related that Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the Shayatin are shackled, the jinns are restrained, the gates of the Fires are shut such that no gate among them would be opened. The gates of Paradise are opened such that no gate among them would be closed, and a caller calls: 'O seeker of the good; come near!' and 'O seeker of evil; stop! for there are those whom Allah frees from the Fire.' And that is every night."
How great it is if we communicate our household and neighbors discussing these noble aspects exactly as the Prophet (PBUH) did with his companions before the advent of Ramadan. By doing so we would be rewarded for every one we communicated with him about the glad tidings the Prophet gave to his nation in this blessed month.
