First Khutba

Praise be to Allah, lord of the worlds, and disposer of all created beings

We praise Him for His great favors, and ask Him help and forgiveness.

I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, who created everything, who created heavens and earth, and who created mankind and Jinn. He (SWT) says: (If We had sent down this Qur'an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah,  and these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought. )

I bear witness that our master Muhammad is His servant and Messenger who was honored with the precious Quran, the greatest miracle through the passing of the years.

To proceed:

Allah says: (And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers.)

Dear brothers and sisters:

There are many stories in the Quran, stories of the believers, stories of non-believers, stories of the Angels, and stories of the Jinn, too many stories.

These stories are not mere narrations, or histories, and of course not for just fun.

These stories give the advice, directions, and warning as to how we should govern our lives.

They also awaken our conscience and recall to us the working of Allah's law in human affairs.

The first story in the Quran is the creation story, creation of mankind, creation of Adam from clay.

The story came in many Suras in the Quran. The following is the story in Surah Sad: ([So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers.  [ Allah ] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." [ Allah ] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." [ Allah ] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved. Until the Day of the time well-known." [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all. Except, among them, Your chosen servants." [ Allah ] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together.")

This is the complete story without searching in unnecessary details.

So we should concentrate to extract the lessons in this short talk, so we will choose one lesson today and complete the others in the next meetings, Allah willing.

-          The first lesson is that Allah Glory to Him, created Adam from clay, with his hands, so Adam was noting before creation. This is an important fact in Islam.

Is there anyone who denies this fact?

Yes, brothers:

This is Darwin and his followers; they deny that Allah created Adam from clay. They claim that man is originated from other lower species in many stages, and his direct origin is the monkey in what they called the evolution theory. They claim also that the offspring of any species that vary most in directions favored by the environment will survive and propagate. Favorable variation will therefore accumulate in populations by natural selection.

So, in his opinion, the natural selection is the creative force of evolution.

Dear brothers:

Our children, not only in America, but also in our Islamic countries study this theory in their schools, however, the theory is obviously against our beliefs.

These are the verses of Quran denying this evolution and state that Allah created Adam as such from the beginning:  Allah Almighty says: (Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, "Be," and he was.), and (He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?". [An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing.' "), and (And the disbeliever says, "When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive?" .Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?)

Dear brothers:

There is contradiction between this Islamic fact and the logic thinking.

The evolution theory faced many problems.

-          The first problem is the presence of organs or animals of exquisite design. I mean, organs with a high degree of perfection which have many parts dependant on each other to do a special job. When one part is not present, other parts can't work. So, these parts should be present at the same time, and by the Islamic expression: these parts should be created at the same time.

-          This fact put those who claim the revolution theory in a big conflict, even Darwin himself.  He said in his book:

"to suppose that the eye with all its inimitable characters for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light and for the correction of special and chromatic aberration could have been formed by natural selection, seems absurd in the highest degree.

-          Secondly, they claim that mutations has an important role in natural selection, however, we said: No, the important mutations will lead to a diseased organism. This will lead to either die of this organism or living in a handicapped manner. Or at least it is incapable of propagation.

-          Thirdly: it is known that every animal has a special number of chromosomes, the factors of heredity, and it is impossible to an animal to deliver another animal with a different number of chromosomes.

Did you ever hear about a cat who delivered a dog? Or did you ever hear about a cow who delivered a monkey?

How they can explain the origin of man with his special number of chromosomes from the monkey who has a different number than man?

-          Lately: suppose that all human beings died, and no man or woman is still present in the world: do you expect that the monkeys will begin actively, even in a huge number of years, and start to buildings and bridges, invent T.V, telephone, and computer, or design cars and aero planes?

-          Dear brothers:

When you think about that, you will definitely conclude that man was created as a man and he will continue as a man forever, and the monkey was created as a monkey and will continue as a monkey forever.

Dear believers:

The main purpose of these theories is to deny the presence of a creator to this universe. Their diseased brains can't imagine the presence of all these beings in the absence of a creator, so they try to find a substitute, which is in their belief, the nature.

Dear believers:

Allah, glory to Him, who created the heaven and the earth, who created the sun, stars, and moons, who created mountains and seas, who created Darwin, his followers, and the nature, is capable, with no doubt, to create man.

So, blessed be Allah, the best to create.

Dear brothers:

You should know that Jewish people, like Darwin, Markes, and Froid, and all their followers, try to prevent you from faith and try to deviate you from the straight path.

So, you should take care of them

You should purify their thoughts, take the good and leave the bad.

You should teach your kids the presence of Allah and the obedience of His commandments.

May Allah accepts us and lead us to what He wants.
