Diomansy Kamara is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Fulham expressed his happiness to embrace Islam. He also expressed his great astonishment on seeing Mecca and the spiritual condition he felt there.

Kamara stressed that happiness he experienced there never found to him before.

Kamara, who is now at Saudi Arabia, delivered a statement to Saudi newspaper "Al-Jazeera ": (I feel very happy after embracing Islam and hope my mother converts to Islam). He added: (I could not control my self on seeing Mecca and Muslims gathering around Ka`ba that I shed tears of the magnificence of the scene).

Kamara visited the Mosque of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Medina, and will return on Tuesday to France.
